IN PICS: Abhishek Bachchan Celebrates India Day Parade In New York

Abhishek Bachchan was spotted at the 36th India Day Parade in New York organized by Federation of India Associations (FIA) yesterday. The 40-year-old actor was the Grand Marshal of the parade. Wearing a tricolour sash over a blue mandarin suit, the Housefull 3 star looked dapper as always as he joined the event. The parade ran through about 13 streets in Madison Avenue in Manhattan.
Abhishek also revealed how he had attended the parade in 1997 as a youngster when his father Amitabh Bachchan was the Grand Marshal of the event. Fans thronged the event to catch a glimpse of AB Jr and clicked selfies with him, as he happily obliged them.
That wasn’t all. Later in the evening, Abhishek had a big surprise in store for his fans. The Yuva actor landed up at the Dream Team Concert in New Jersey and performed to his hit track Maa Da Laadla from Dostana.
It was the final concert of Dream Team that comprised Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Roy Kapur and Karan Johar. We’ll be getting you all the details from their New Jersey performance in a bit. Keep watching this space.
